| Notes | There are many peace curricula available for schools to use, which focus on topics such as anti-bullying, conflict resolution, peer mediation, etc. However, few peace curricula relate specifically to themes and concepts taught in core subject areas. At each small turn encourages teachers, students, and school communities to see peace not only as relevant and urgent in our world, but also tied intrinsically to what it is we are studying, and how we relate to each other at home, at school and in our communities.
This is not an exhaustive curriculum, but rather a set of themes, ideas and activities designed to connect to existing Alberta core curriculum study in social studies, health, science and english language arts.
