TitleSacred Land, Scarred Land
NotesAround the world the traditional lands of Aboriginal peoples are being exploited for resources, and polluted by industrial wastes. In some cases the people are being displaced, their health is at risk, and their spiritual and cultural connections to their land are under threat. The video visits four communities - the Lubicon in Alberta, the Embera Katio in Columbia, the Nuer in Sudan, and the people of Marinduque, Philippines - to hear first-hand the stories of their struggles to maintain their land rights, livelihoods, and cultural identities in the face of corporate intrusion.

Includes study guide.
