TitleA Plate Half Full: How Family Farmers Around the World are Struggling with Globalization
NotesHave you ever wondered where your food comes from? Well, today your food comes from around the world.

Meet Alan Entz in Kansas and Danny Gumapac in the Philippines, farmers who share optimism, a strong work ethic, love for their job and hope for their children. Both face different challenges as the globalization of food production threatens to exert more control over their farms than they do. Profit margins have changed. Little profit means they must farm more land or cultivate more intensely. Both are threatened with debt beyond their control and the challenge of large agribusiness. Their dreams are simple: to continue farming and support themselves, to have enough food, and to live with dignity.

Includes study guide.
