TitleAgainst Great Odds: African Christians Survive Persecution
NotesIn 1982, the Meserete Kristos Church in Ethiopia was driven underground by the Communist government. Public worship was prohibited. However, in 1992, when the church was once again allowed to surface, they found it had grown from 5,000 members to over 50,000. This is the story of their amazing courage, vision and faithfulness. (The church was originally started in 1948 through the efforts of Mennonite missionaries.)
