NotesSoni has cerebral palsy, a condition caused by injury to the brain before, during or shortly after birth. People with cerebral palsy have damage to the area of the brain that controls muscle tone. When Soni entered the Wings of Hope children's home in Haiti's capital, he could not feed himself, walk or talk. The other children taught him these skills and when Soni could express himself, he told them his dream was to fly. Learn how Soni's dream came true and how Soni has become a missionary with a message: With God's help and the support of friends, anything is possible. For grades 1 to 5.
