Resurrection, based on John 20.1-21, is a film uniting award-winning cinematography with biblical content. A group of mourners wrestling with the loss of a loved one is confronted with the story of Jesus Christxe2x80x99s resurrection, as told in the book of John. The darkness of their grief is transformed to joy through this story of death, resurrection, and new life.

Resurrection is a product of extensive research and planning by a team of scholars and artists. It features actor Jim Caviezel (The Thin Red Line) and includes members of All Nations Lutheran Church, located in Jersey City, NJ, where the film was shot.
